Make a rad embroidered patch you can use to embellish your jean jacket, purse, or secret diary! In this 3 hour class led by Cincinnati embroidery artist Elodie Freeman, you'll learn embroidery tips + tricks and stitch your own beautiful letter patch. Topics covered will include thread care, needle selection, appropriate fabrics, pattern transfer, and the following stitches (just to name a few): back stitch, stem stitch, chain stitch, whip stitch, lazy daisy, and French knots!
This workshop is designed to be accessible to anyone who can hold a needle (and be trusted not to poke their eye out) but interesting enough for those who already know their way around a hoop. Class fee includes all the supplies you need for your patch (and you can take them home with you!): needles, pins, embroidery floss, fabric, tension hoop, transfer paper, and stitch instructions.
